Every time that I use SendPress, I always get about 7-15 emails that get “stuck.” If I go back into the Queue > Stuck screen and select the option to Re-Queue them, they all send without issue. I have always had this problem since using SendPress.

There should be a message on the send errors page (on the queue tab). It might tell you what happened. There’s lots of potential reasons. Let us know what the error is and maybe we can help. Could just be your hosting provider messing with or throttling your sending.

Are you sending through your hosting provider or “website”?

If you want to send me your domain name I can check a few things on our end.

I have it setup on the Your Website option, but I am using the Postman SMTP plugin to send via the Google API. The website is cohokc.com.

Here’s a perfect example from an email I sent today. I have 15 emails stuck and no errors.

Thanks for the extra info. When using Postman SMTP to send we may not see the errors. You might need to look into logs of Postman SMTP or enable debug to see what’s happening.

How many messages to you send at a time?

The Gmail mail server send limit is approximately 100-150 emails per day when connected to the server from a remote email client.

Wondering if you’re hitting a gmail limit. It might go up to 250 per day.

We have a Google Apps for business account, so our limits are different because it’s based on the number of users we have. I also know that’s not the issue because I can go check 10 minutes after I schedule it to send, select “re-queue all emails,” and 10 minutes later they are all sent.

I checked the Postman SMTP log and I see is some of them being sent from SendPress say “Could not create lockfile /tmp/.postman.lock” under the status column.

You may not be alone in this.

Probably an issue for Postman. Looks like a permission issue on your server or Postman needs to write temp files to a different location.
