  • Hi @cblack47,

This is a bit strange. At the moment, we think it may be related to a WordPress bug. The problem is, it only seems happens to be happening to a few people.

Not all PDF files are the same. So everything everything is fine in our testing with our PDF files, perhaps there’s something specific about yours that changes things.

Can you provide a copy of your PDF file as well as your EDD system info file? It might be better to go ahead and open a support ticket on our actual website as we get started troubleshooting. That way you can share that information privately with us: https://easydigitaldownloads.com/support

Just open a new support ticket, perhaps link to this ticket to make sure the new ticket comes to me, and provide the requested files.

    Thanks!

If helps…. i think that is why the htaccess file that EDD creates into the active directory of /uploads

    It has a filesmatch rule: <FilesMatch ‘\.(jpg|jpeg|png|gif|mp3|ogg)$’>

I think only to add |pdf could be, but masters must say.

    Regards.

    HW

I am having the same issue… Only some PDF’s are downloading as .jpg. Although in the media library they are clearly PDFs

@hw I believe you sent in a ticket via our support system as well. Could you please see my email reply there? I’d like to log into your site to take a closer look at it.

Note for anyone else seeing this: the problem was resolved with the 2.7.3 update.
