    Hi

Something is not working right with the plugin on my site. This is what is happening:

I gave the editor role backend access but hid unnecessary stuff as per the function of the plugin. BUT, when the plugin is activated the editor can’t access back end, when i deactivate the plugin, the editor gains access to back end but he obviously sees all the stuff i don’t want him to see. I’ve done a plugin conflict test but there’s no conflict.
    What am I missing?

  • Hi, thanks for the plugin!

Same problem here, but in my case it works ok with Versión 1.10.6, with latest updates editors can’t access so I have to revert to 1.10.6 and it works again. I have tested all newer updates with no success. I’m using latest wp 4.7.2 on php 5.5.38.

Any fix will be great, thanks again.

    Hi

Any chance i’ll get a response? Silence is not really golden at moment.

Same here, plugin does absolutely nothing when using any for the “write” options for any of the user roles.

Since the last version have the plugin a option to prevent access to different pages, if his area is hide for a group. But you can change this feature. Maybe it works not on all context of the hiding areas. Check the plugin settings of Adminimize, there have an option to remove this options to prevent access to pages.

    Hi

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve tried everything i can only login as admin when adminimise is active.

Have you deactivated the plugin option to prevent access? If no, delete all settings in Adminimize to reset the settings new. But the plugin have no function to change the login or check the access, if no page in the menu is active for hide in the role. Only the hiding of the dashboard have a rewrite to another side, there you can customize via settings.

    Hi Frank, thanks it worked.

Plugin settings – Allow page access

    Thanks again for the plugin.
