I am trying to change some pages withing wordpress and siteorigin layout builder.
Now every time i press update after making changes, the page reverts back to how it was and no changes are made.

Things i did: cleared browser cache ( i do not have a cache plugin so that is not messing anything up).

Tried a page without siteorigin layout builder: still does the same thing.

I have no clue what this is causing. So any ideas would be welcome,

    Sjoerd

-edit- also restarted the pc just in case some caching still happened somehow

@sjoerd89 Try deactivating all the plugins and try saving a page and see if it updates. If it does then one of your plugin is responsible for this. If still doesn’t work then try switching over to the twenty17 theme and see if the page updates, if yes, then there is a problem with your theme.

Done both it is not the plugins and it is not the theme

In chrome it is not saying anything but in firefox if i try to update the page it is giving a message that a script is not working:

    Script: https://www.zilvertron.com/word…iris,wp-color-picker&ver=4.7.2:3

WP core doesn’t use any external scripts. So either this is shipping by your theme or either one of your plugins is using this script (which is not even a script, seems like a malware). Find out where this is.

Next thing you can try is to download a fresh copy of WordPress from https://www.remarpro.com. Unzip the file and upload all the content to your host through FTP.
