    Hi,

What I first noticed as a blank WP dashboard, actually starts looking like a hack. So my website is running, I can use network admin, but not edit the site content (dashboard is blank)
When I went on my cpanel, I noticed an exceeded physical memory (1gb) and disk usage at 6gb, even though I do not have that much on the website. The said disk usage grew to 10gb in 24h. However, I could not find any large files in the content o public html, where all the memory was used up.
Now all my memory is exceeded and I cant even install a plugin. Hosting is from name.com

I have however managed to install SUCURI in the last moment, which is flagging up failed login attempts every few minutes.

Anyone knows what is going on and how I should proceed? website is https://www.cobbletales.com

    Thank you,
    Olga

Remain calm and carefully follow this guide. When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures.

If you’re unable to clean your site(s) successfully, there are reputable organizations that can clean your sites for you. Sucuri, SiteLock and Wordfence are a few.

Ok, blank screen resolved. It appears that the tesseract theme was causing havoc after all. I have tried to disabling it, but it took deleting it to get the dashboard working again.
To figure out what was causing the error, I followed these helpful instructions https://snapcreek.com/blog/wordpress-error-log-friend/.
Debug_log had tesseract all over it, so I deleted it.
