Hi Nick, hoping you can assist here. Read the FAQ but can’t seem to get this to work.

I have a picklist in a form designating registrant’s primary business where the names in the picklist are different than the values passed to salesforce.

UI Picklist names = “Installer” “Manufacturer” “Distributor” “Other”.

Salesforce values = “Spice – Installer” “Spice – Manufacturer” Spice – Distributor” “Other”

I set the “internal name” of the picklist field from Salesforce as the field name, set the operation to enabled, and selected Picklist type.

I entered my specific picklist names |Installer|Manufacturer|Distributor|Other into the Options field and salesfoce values “|Spice – Installer|Spice – Manufacturer|Spice – Distributor|Other” into the Value field.

Upon submit, the lead posts with the name rather than salesforce value.

    Appreciate your assistance.
    Gary

For picklists the values and labels both go in the options field. Read the FAQ again and look at the examples – your options field should look more like this:

    I.e.

    Installer | Spice - Installer
    Manufacturer | Spice - Manufacturer

The value field sets the default value for the picklists. It should never contain multiple values.

This whole UI will be better in future versions…

Thanks for the clarificaton Nick. Posting update here for others who might have similar issues.

I tried the format as suggested (Name1 | Value1 | Name2 | Value2) and found it populates the pick with both values and labels. Changed format to (Select One: | name1:value1 | name2:value2) and that resolved.
