Hello, and thanks for this great plugin. I’ve different CF7 forms which I would like to map to one post type, only. Are you intending to allow the plugin to use an existing custom post type any time soon? Thanks for your reply in advance and best regards!

Yes, this is in the pipeline. Are you a coder? are you comfortable using hooks to create custom functionality using your functions.php file?

If yes, I am planning to create a small branched version of this plugin which will allow this functionality quite easily using a filter function. The main plugin will evolve eventually to bring a UI based method to this, but I myself I need this functionality on another project, and hence I am thinking to do enable this right away, but you will need to know how to code in order to achieve the desired result.

Thank you very much for your reply.
And yes, I can use hooks in my theme’s function file. It would be great, if you could release the corresponding, branched version of your plugin. Thanks again!!

Sure, I will release a version most likely next week, or the week after as I will be working on the project that requires this functionality. Shall post back on this thread with more info once this is available

I’d be interested in trying this as well.

We’d find it really useful to be able to be map to a standard post. A functions.php solution is fine for us, too.

Many thanks for your work on this.

    Hi everyone,

v1.3 is fresh out of the oven, baked with love.

This version does allow for forms to be mapped to existing post using hooks instead of the UI. I just haven’t had enough time to work on the next UI version, but this will come in v2.0 of the plugin.

If you come across some bugs, please be patient as unfortunately I haven’t had the time to run all the possible scenarios. So I appreciate all the testing help and debugging the community can contribute.

I am going to close this thread. If you find a bug please report it on a new thread.
