    Hi,

I had Really simple ssl plugin installed and working fine. After installing the latest update I get a warning message that SSL is disabled but its not.

htaccess code is in place, code in wp-config.php is in place, the website is correctly on SSL. I guess its value was reset in the DB after the update?

Hi, could you show me a screenshot of the message you are seeing? And could you also post the debug log?

** Really Simple SSL debug mode **
    ** Detecting configuration **
    plugin version: 2.5.0
Already on SSL, start detecting configuration
    ssl not enabled, show notice

Wel, that’s really strange. I have updated a lot of sites, without this happening. I think the solution is to just click the activate SSL button. Then the notice should go away.

I think I know how this could be caused. Did you also get a notice about wp-config.php edits needed? Since the last release, in a specific situation:
    – wp-config without writing permissions
    – retrieval of the test page with curl failed

The “SSL enabled” can be set to false, and the notice pops up that you need to enter some code in your wpconfig. Entering this code in the wp-config.php, then enabling SSL, fixes the problem, but if it worked without this code before, this is probably a false positive on this test.

I’ve created a fix for this, it will be included in the next release.
