Feature Request: Character count and limit above the wordcount

  • Could you also add character count after words count (the next line below the editor). At least counter with spaces or without them as well. It would be very useful to have an option “limit of characters for the article” to set in admin area, and the corresponding message for the author below the text editor.
    I found some code for this but couldn’t implement it to work correctly. Besides, it’s not a styling feature, and requires changing some general .php and .js of the plugin.

    Hi,

    The word count in Frontier Post is the standard Tinymce word count plugin, and this does not support character count.

    I am not planning to add this as feature, unless it is an official Tinymce plugin
