    Hi Michael,

    At least two of the forms on my site studiosamadhi.com are no longer working – and they were just a few days ago. I don’t know what kind of info you need to respond… let me know. Here’s a quick breakdown…

    My form “Training Application” with several custom text fields and custom text areas worked correctly at least 4 times over a period of a week or so when I first set it up. Data from the form fields was submitted via email to me with the as expected, and contact info loaded to Constant Contact. It then stopped working inexplicably sometime within the last few days. It no longer sends me the info with the form field data, and no longer sends the contact info to Constant Contact. I only found out because someone told me they sent in the form, but I didn’t receive it in any way. Test submissions by myself and Constant Contact confirm the info has been submitted, but it just goes into the abyss. I did add the opt-in checkbox and it didn’t make a difference. I put a manual form on top as a substitute to keep from losing incoming data, in the meantime. The page is here: https://studiosamadhi.com/training/apply-to-training/

    My Scholarship Application form did appear to be working – however, the last application I received from this form came through this morning, but it was time stamped yesterday morning, so it looks like a 24-hour delay. I have not adjusted any delay settings, and I want the forms ASAP. I did update this with the opt-in checkbox also, to be sure, and still nothing comes through to me when I submit a test. I and CC both tested this one earlier today and I did again just now, and still have not received anything.     I was on the phone with Constant Contact for about an hour today, and they did all the troubleshooting they could to no avail… they sent me to you, so hoping you can help.

    First question I have is if you have already upgraded to version 1.2.0, or if you’re still on 1.1.1. The reason I ask is because logically, it could be a case of something in the 1.2.0 release started hindering things. However, if nothing had been updated, and it simply stopped working, then something else is going on.

    You’re providing the opt-in fields, which is good and needed for the addition to the lists in constantcontact.com. The other portion of the process is around WordPress’ WP Cron system. Curious if that’s getting caught up and delayed somehow.

    When I first noticed the issue, it was on 1.1.0. I thought it may need to be updated, so I did the update, and now it’s on 1.2.0. After the update, I reinstalled the short code for the Training form, and re-tested, and still did not work.

    Is there a way for me to check WP cron? I”m not a techie, so not familiar with that.

    Are you using custom text areas for the forms? We’ve become aware that parts of our implementation around that may be causing constantcontact api rejections. Something we’re planning to address with a 1.2.1 release.

    Yes…

    If I replace them with custom text *fields* will that work? Or do any custom text fields/areas cause issues?

    When is the 1.2.1 release slated?

    the fields should work, so it’s worth a quick test, for sure. We’re aiming for some time next week for 1.2.1. Gives time to finish up things we know we wanted to address, and also time to address new issues that may come in from 1.2.0.

    OK, so I updated the custom text areas to custom text fields on both of those forms, and then tested each with a submission. It’s been about 10-15 minutes, don’t have anything – so still not going through.

    Just submitted the form for the Scholarship application.

    If that doesn’t show up soon, should be about a minute, if things are working like they should, would you be willing to let me in to check on some things directly? I’d provide an email address to contact privately for any credentials exchange.

    Hi Michael, sorry I got a bit tied up after you sent this earlier. OK – so I have not seen a test come through from you. (Or any of the other tests that have previosuly been sent.) I did get, at 1:49 PM, a new submission come via email from the Scholarship application page, from another person that looks like an actual submission.

    Thinking that I’d like to see some things first hand at this point, if you’re willing as well.

    If so, set up a user that uses the email michael @ webdevstudios dot com and that will reach me. Set the user to whatever you want, and I can take care of the password at that point.
