Want image in home page gallery to link to page,but same image there in lightbox

    I want the image in a home page gallery to link to a page, but the same image in that page’s gallery to open in the lightbox, along with other images in that gallery.

    Is there a way to do this? Currently, if I change the status of the image’s link in either place, it affects it in both places.

    Do I need to just upload it again and use it as a new image? I’d rather not, if possible.

    Just add this in the gallery tag in which you don’t want the custom links to apply:

    ignore_gallery_link_urls=”true”

    ie [gallery ignore_gallery_link_urls="true"]

    (This is described in the Usage text for the plug-in)

    What do you mean add in the ‘gallery tag’? Or are you saying just add that shortcode on the page?

    Add that tag to the shortcode for the gallery that should use lightbox and not the custom link.

    Okay, got it, in ‘text’ mode, just add to the shortcode that’s already there. It’s working. Thanks!
