    Does this plugin work (free version) with either / both of the following multisite setups

    Multisite with folders (1 domain name)
    Multisite with sub.domains

    If so, how should it be activated – individual sites or network activated?

    Hi!

    Yes, the plugin works in a multisite installation – it sees each subsite as an independent site with no relationship at all with the others.

    You can either activate as you want. We, for example, use the plugin in our own website (a multisite installation with two subsites) and we network activated it. But it also works if you activate it individually.
