2 Blogs Won’t Work On Same Site?

    Why is it that when I install a new WP blog directory and set it up on another database I always get “error establishing database connection” on another blog?

    example:

    masonsklut.com –> my default blog

    masonsklut.com/test –> works, but screws up my default blog

  • /test should not be messing with original blog if you created another database – only if you used the same db and did not change the table prefix in wp-config.php.

    That’s what is was. I forgot to change the table prefix.
