• Hello,

I have two languages configured on a buddypress site. When I go to register page of the second language (other than default language) the ragister form is not showed. The system process the translated page like an empty page.

I did a duplicate translation from the default language register page, including custom fields translations.

I’m using the “Different languages in directories” config, so the original entry have the url /register, and the translated page /nl/register.

am I missing some config tip?

    thanks in advance.

Sorry for late reply, we just tested Register page – works fine.
    1. Create Register page in other language (WPML Duplicate to copy contents of page)
    2. Scan BuddyPress plugin using WPML string scan (WPML > Theme and plugin localization)
    3. Translate strings if necessary (WPML > String Translation ‘BuddyPress’ and ‘BuddyPress Multilingual’ text domain)

    Register form should appear translated.
If some string is not translated, search for it on WPML String Translation screen.

Hi, cannot use language parameter for buddypress multilingual, BPML only accept language path, any chance? Because I have coded lot of extension programs in wordpress before I use buddypress multilingual. can anyone help?

    Thanks a lot!

@raymondleung Yes, BPML supports WPML language negotiation types: language_in_dir (path/directory) and language_per_domain.
We considered supporting language_as_parameter but we could not cover all frontend links.
