Slow to Load

I really want to make this theme work….I LOVE it! But if I use all the graphic potential it is SOOO Painfully slow to load, I can’t even sit here long enough to make changes. I’ve disabled all plugins…I’ve disabled the slider, and I really wanted to use that. Any recommendations? https://www.middlesage.com
