How to avoid bbpress forums overwrite?

    Hi guys,
    I’m using this beautiful plugin in order to duplicate my live site to my staging area (MAMP) and vice versa. I’m using also the BBPress plugin for forums.
    How can I avoid the bbpress forums overwrite when I publish my new features and pages from my staging area to the live site? Is there a plugin in order to backup only the forums or something like this?

  • Hey @beppemanno,

    Unfortunately right now Duplicator only works with an empty database. If it didn’t we would probably get overwhelmed with merge issues. It maybe something we consider in the pro-version in the future.

    If you want to use Duplicator to only backup the forum data you can do that by filtering out all of your non-bbforum tables when you build the package by filtering the tables…
