    Hi Eric –

I’m testing the charitable plugin. From the description it seems just what I want, a non-profit donation tool with multiple campaigns, paypal and credit cards, offline donations, email confirmations, and some reporting.

But I’m missing some very fundamental info which I can’t find in your documentation.

I installed the plugin and set up 2 campaigns. I added the [campaigns] shortcode to a page and 2 nice boxes appear on that page with the campaign descriptions and Donate buttons. So far, so good.

But when I click on a Donate button it tries to go to mysite.com/campaigns/year-end-2017-campaign/donate/, but this page does not exist!

Obviously I’ve missed something in the configuration, but your documentation doesn’t seem to say what I’ve missed.

    Can you provide some guidance?

    Thanks!

    I figured out the problem.

I went to Settings -> Permalinks and re-saved the form. Now it works.

Did I miss this in the docs? Maybe it should be highlighted more.

    Thanks,

    Mike

    Hi Mike,

Glad you were able to resolve this issue. The permalink settings shouldn’t need to be flushed after installing Charitable; it should work automatically. I’ll take a look though to make sure a bug hasn’t crept in here.

    Cheers,
    Eric
