Download Count won’t change

    I added some downloads this week and noticed there seems to be an issue with the download count. I can’t override the number of downloads (it switches back to zero after saving) and it doesn’t seem to log when items have been downloaded. It just stays at zero. I did not have this problem with items entered last fall.

    I noticed the plugin hasn’t been updated in a few months – could it be an issue with the last couple versions of WordPress? Anyone else experiencing this?

    I need this fixed, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

    I’m sorry to know that you are facing issue with our plugin. Can you please let us know the exact version of our plugin you have installed on your website?

    I should correct that, Harish. The backend of wordpress claims it’s version 3.3.5.9, but when I click on the plugin details it says it’s version 1.9.5.

    I noticed that if I try to change the count of older downloads, it reverts to zero also.

    My site is due to go live next week. Any chance you could let me know asap if you think this is an easily fixable issue or if I should start looking for a similar plugin?

    Sorry for the late reply. To check the correct version of the plugin, please go to the “Plugins” menu in your WordPress admin and check from there. if you could share a screenshot of that page where our plugin details are displayed than it would be helpful.

    Hi Harish,

    Here’s a link to 2 screenshots – 1 is how the plugin version appears in the plugin listing. 2 is how the version appears when you click “view details” from that plugin in the listing. You’ll see they’re showing 2 different version numbers. Which is correct?
