Redirect URI Mismatch Connecting with WordPress Plugin

    I am receiving an error: Redirect URI Mismatch when I try to connect in the Constant Contact WordPress plugin.

    I am on a Mac with 10.10.5 and have tried the following:

    1. Firefox
    2. Chrome
    3. Chrome incognito
    4. Disabling Genesis Enews Extended plugin

    All with no success.

    I have spoken with Constant Contact Tier 2 support and they weren’t able to resolve the issue and suggested I post here.

    Can you provide a screenshot of where you’re seeing this? Trying to pinpoint exactly where it may be coming from. As is, we don’t have that error message hardcoded anywhere in the plugin itself, so it’s possible it’s coming from a remote request in the connection process.

    It happens when I click the Connect Plug button no the Connect Now page.

    When I click the Connect Plugin button I get directed to the Constant Contact login page. I enter my credentials and login and then I see a page with just the redirect URI Mismatch.

    {“error”:”Redirect URI mismatch.”}

    Here is the URL in the address bar associated with that error:

    https://wpredirect.constantcontact.com/?aHR0cDovLzE4MS4yMjQuMTM5LjEwMy9%20aGFyZm9yZDY=&code=zNOG6FBLeMo375Hvu9SMF39UF1e&username=info%40harfordsheart.com

    I have to use the browser back button to return to WordPress.

    It is fixed! It must have had an issue with the temporary URL using the IP address. Once I went live and had the site URL as the actual domain name it worked right away!
