I have just installed the plugin. I put the following shortcode in a page:

    [a-z-listing post-type=post]

The result is a listing of post-type=page, ie, the shortcode produces a list of pages, not posts. How can I list out posts not pages?

    Thanks.

My mistake – i had entered the shortcode from the WP page editor visual edit tab, not the text edit tab, which resulted in the WP editor inserting pre and code tags into the shortcode.

@vapbulous, I’ve replied to you in a different thread, let’s try to get you up and running ??

thanksss ?? you a handsome and clever

    Same here.

[a-z-listing] displays an index of site pages. But we want to list posts only.

    [a-z-listing post-type=”post”] displays a blank page.

What other steps are needed, besides inserting shortcode?

@tonybearblog, your server might be missing the PHP module called mbstring. That is the normal cause of my plugin not completing a page render. If it is this issue it should be shown in you server’s error_log file.
