I know this has been beat to death, but I’m having issues since updating to 4.7.2. Everything I read says it’s a DNS problem. I host my own server and haven’t changed anything in the DNS since I started using it a couple months ago. Here is what I get when I do a curl request thru terminal:

    | => curl --head https://gaylordsbestpizza.com
    HTTP/1.1 200 OK
    Date: Tue, 31 Jan 2017 18:57:53 GMT
    Server: Apache
    X-Powered-By: PHP/5.6.29
    Expires: Thu, 19 Nov 1981 08:52:00 GMT
    Cache-Control: no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate, post-check=0, pre-check=0
    Pragma: no-cache
    X-Pingback: https://gaylordsbestpizza.com/xmlrpc.php
    Link: <https://gaylordsbestpizza.com/wp-json/>; rel="https://api.w.org/"
    Link: <https://gaylordsbestpizza.com/>; rel=shortlink
    MS-Author-Via: DAV
    Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8
    Set-Cookie: PHPSESSID=6eu32tgr042rb5tit559pvmaa2; path=/

So it seems curl is working. Any thoughts? I’ve done a clean install, disabled plugins and removed ones I wasn’t using. Otherwise, the site functions as its supposed to. I’m also getting this from the plugin page:An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums

    Any help would be awesome!!

Problem solved! Changed the host name and redid the DNS and it works fine now!

    Hi,

When you say “redid” the DNS, what exactly do you mean? I’m getting this issue now too since 4.7.2 on nginx ??

    Cheers

At the time I was hosting on my own server so I deleted and redid the primary and reverse DNS zones. I also pointed the server to itself resolve DNS queries. Not sure if that would work for your situation.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah don’t think it’d be that for me. We’ve had it running on this server for over a year, and it only seems to be since the lasted update that it’s stopped working. I’ll keep digging :/
