In the “Getting Started” section of the Caldera website, specifically this page:
    https://calderaforms.com/doc/configure-sendgrid/

… the documentation states, “SendGrid is free for up to 12,000 emails a month.”

It looks like SendGrid is no longer offering a free mail service. There is a free one-month trial, but after that, the cost is $9.95 per month for the basic plan, $79.95 per month for the pro plan.

    The documentation should be corrected/updated.

Thanks for using Caldera Forms. I have corrected that.

If you need a free option, most people can use Amazon SES at free tier. See, https://wordimpress.com/using-amazon-ses-send-wordpress-emails/

BTW We only check these forums about once a week. Please use our contact form https://calderaforms.com/contact if you have issues with the site.

Thanks Josh. I’m using WordPress mail for now, but will definitely look into the Amazon service & plugin.

I’ll use the calderaforms.com/contact page if I run into any other questions on the documentation. For the most part I found it very helpful, although I have not yet completely wrapped my brain around conditionals and variables.

Hey, do you know if this applies to already existing members that had signed up when it had a free plan?

I see still see 12k emails remaining on my account but maybe if I start using it I will be put into the 30 days period?

    Does anyone know about this?
