    Hello,

    I have two questions.

    1. My Apex theme doesn’t respond to the mobile layout when viewed on a mobile (or any device other than the computer

    2. Regarding Apex Pro, is it possible to change the featured image so that it is underneath the blog title on the main page as it is with Apex (using a child theme)? And remove that featured image from the main blog post?

    Thank you!

Could you share a link to your site? Once I check it out I should be able to solve the mobile issue.

For #2, this can be done with an Apex child theme with/without Apex Pro. I can walk you through the steps to make this customization. First, do you already have a child theme active on your site?

    Hi Ben,

    My site is https://charmainenyw.com/

No, I do not currently have a child theme active.

    Thanks,
    Charmaine

    Thanks!

The difference in the mobile design is due to the mobile theme module being active in Jetpack. If you disable this module via the Jetpack settings, the site should then display normally on mobile devices.

You can download the Apex child theme here to make the other customizations. This will move the Featured Image below the title on the blog, and remove the Featured Image from the post pages.

    Thank you, Ben!

Just to clarify, the Apex child theme also works for Apex Pro, right?

    Sure thing!

Yes, the child theme will work with Apex Pro active.
