I installed this plugin about a year ago now and just recently received word from a client that the links in a gallery no longer work. Inspecting the code shows that they’re not even being applied to any of the gallery items.
I’ve disabled the other plugins on my site looking for a conflict but can’t find any, and other sites with this plugin that use a similar setup seem to be working alright.

The page in question with the gallery is: https://www.visioncity.com.au/brands-products/optical-frames/

Each of the 6 images in the gallery near the top of the page should link through to a site, which I’ve set in the gallery settings.

Hi, I’m the owner of this plugin. Would love to check in to this for you. It’s tricky to troubleshoot without checking out your setup. Drop me an email at [email protected] and I’ll try to help you troubleshoot.

Fix was found: one of the images in the gallery had its Link attribute set to ‘None’ and that was overriding the other settings. Thanks for troubleshooting, Liam.

    Hello John,
It seems I am having a similar problem. Custom url not at all working, only the normal behaviour owf WP gallery, zoom image and it’s opening attachment page. ‘LsNewton’ apparently had one image’s link attribute set to ‘none’. But I can’t find such a setting to define for a single image it’s link attribute… I can only control the link property in overall settings of the gallery. (None, Media File, Attachment Page)

It concerns movie posters and i want them to link to their trailer on youtube (in new window).

    Looking forward to your help.
    Thanks a lot!
    Ramon

P.s. I noticed that the “Gallery Link OnClick Effect” is set to “Remove” but still the light box effect is appearing… Any idea? Like something to overrule all via “Additional CSS Classes”

P.s. how to place those custom css classes? with the [ and ] ?
    [gallery ignore_gallery_link_urls="true"]
    or
    gallery ignore_gallery_link_urls=”true”

    Thank you!
    Ramon

Hi Ramon. Drop me an email at [email protected] and I can troubleshoot with you. May need to get access to your admin screens to see what is happening…
