• Hey guys!

Just wondering if some of you have a solution to my problem. I recently built a website for a client of mine and I have not found a way to automatically add his galleries to the menu. Right now he uses this site just for pictures and he would like to schedule his galleries to a date that he might not be at a computer.

So if you know a plugin or something that will make this work I would be very happy. I have been searching for it but have not found a way/a plugin yet.

    Thank you! ??

(PS I am new to word press and this forum so please be kind if this is posted in the wrong section.)

The menu settings have an option to automatically add new pages to the menu. Be sure this is checked. Be sure new galleries are added to pages instead of posts. When a new page is created, its publish date can be set into the future. It will not appear on the site until that date is reached. No further interaction is required for this to happen other than someone (or thing) needs to visit the site shortly after the chosen date to trigger the automatic process.

    Hey bcworkz!

Thank you for the kind respons. This is absolutely a way of doing it. The thing is that we have set up a subscription service that will trigger when ever a new gallery is created. And if we were to change this to a new page, I think this will trigger that E-mail. I will look into it. I think there really should be a way of setting this up without having to create a page for the gallery. Although I will check if I can set up the subscription E-mail to trigger whenever a new page is published.

Thank you again, will come back to this thread to tell future readers if it worked. ??

The plugin that we uses (Email Subscribers) can’t be configured to send a new E-mail when a new page is created. Only posts, portfolios and galleries. Which sucks. Do you have any other suggestions?
