Backup completes, but the finalized backup notification is not sent

    Good evening.
    I have version 3.6.2 installed on my WordPress website. The plugin performs the backups correctly. I have some schedules configured, which also work correctly. However, I’m not receiving notification emails.
    The plugin uses the wp_mail () function to send the notifications, correct? You are not able to identify the moment or how the plugin sends the notifications.

    Could you advise me how to proceed in this case? How can I make a plugin debugging?

    Hi there –

    You’re correct in that the plugin uses the wp_mail function to send notifications. it sends those notifications after a backup is completed. If you’ve already checked that your email is entered correctly in the settings for each of your schedules, and you’ve also checked your spam folder, then it is likely a WordPress-related mail issue.

    Can you confirm you’ve checked those things and I’ll put some resources together to help you with troubleshooting the mail part of things?

    Yes. I checked this information already. My e-mail box I set up so that the plugin’s emails are not considered Spam.
    My email address is spelled correctly in the schedules. Now there are days that the plugin does not back up. But there are days when it works and backs up.

    I’m thinking of updating the WordPress version to do a test.
