missing images

  • Hi, I run wordpress on localhost (local server).
    I can’t see any default image while creating my site. Any theme I choose I have the same problem. Further, instead the home page appear the blogpage.

    In my knowledge its up to the theme you are currently using that gives the default image or not for the post or page that does not yet assigned the featured image manually by the user.
    Normally, in such case you need to upload and assign the featured image for the post and / or page from Featured Image section of editor.

    Secondly, by default site normally shows the blog with posts you have. For custom homepage you therefore need to set Static Front Page from Settings >> Readings section.

    thanks! I can’t find the featured image in the dashboard of www.remarpro.com.
    Anyway I see the follow error message:
