Property Search Results Sorting

Hi I’m trying to default the property search results to sort by descending prices.
The property search form is custom and I’ve added the correct sorting link structure for the action attribute as instructed by the support team over at diverse solutions.

The problem is that the results script seems to completely ignore the sorting I’ve added and automatically adds the default “time on market, newest first” sorting instead.

How can I make it default to sorting by descending price?
