How to make wordpress support all video formats?

  • We upload videos into our server and putting those videos into posts by using add media> url> function. The videos are mp4 formatted. But not all of them plays well.
    Is WordPress only supports h264 formatted .mp4 videos?

    Audio is okay but visual isn’t appear!

    Some mp4 videos (which we converted to h264 format) plays audio and visual correctly.
    But other mp4 formats which do not convert to h264 doesnt shows video only audio plays.

    How to make wordpress support all video formats?
