• After the WP 4.7.1 update W3 Total Cache plugin was corrupted and crashed my website with the following error… Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /hermes/bosnaweb20a/b1094/ipg.pupstarsonomacom/pupstarsonoma/wp-content/object-cache.php on line 51
iPage, the host of my site has told me there is a script that is “broken”. Being a noob and not being able to fix this myself, they are trying.
Has anyone else had this issue with W3 Total Cache and if so how did you resolve it?
I’m using a GT3 template, if that makes a difference. Any help would be fantastic as I’m dead in the water now.

  • Try logging in via FTP and renaming object-cache.php to object-cache.backup to see if your site comes back up.

If W3TC files were corrupted, you may be better off deleting them all from your server and doing a fresh installation of the plugin.
