WordPress keep creating “blog” folder in cpanel
-
Hello,
I have a website where one of the pages is blog, the path to it is https://www.example.com/blog. In the Front page display settings I have Home page as Static page and Blog as Posts page. Now the slug for Blog is /blog and the problem I have is something is triggering creation of empty folder called blog on the root which automatically brings traffic to that folder whenever they click on Blog in the menu and they end up on an empty page with a link “.Parent folder”. I keep fixing this issue buy renaming or removing the folder from root, but what can cause to create that folder in the first place? I know it is not recurring issue every given amount of time, it just looks like someone is triggering this by some activity in admin panel, but I do not know what it is. Thanks for any help.
