Installing using MAMP – Step 4

  • Hi all,

    New to this and I am having trouble with the “5-minute install” using MAMP.

    I follow all the steps precisely in the setup, but when it comes to entering the URL (localhost:8888/wordpress_test) it says the “URL was not found on this server”. The Settings on the MAMP are correct (Harley>Sites>wordpress_test) and the port left at the default Apache 8888.

    I am stumped as it is all exactly as it should be?

    Any help would be MUCH appreciated.
