    BAIT & SWITCH.
    Everything points to it being free UNTIL you go to actually use it (after having spent time to set it up) at which point they require credit card.

    BAD FORM, BAD TREATMENT, BAD EXPERIENCE, WASTED MY FRICKING TIME. bad.

    Hi there, this is the team at ActiveConvert here. I’m sorry you ran into issues getting set up and we agree with you that the request to activate a subscription when walking through the signup process is confusing. We’ve since removed that page.

    Just to clarify, we do not require a credit card any time during the 14-day trial. You can deploy the plugin and try it out for free on your site and subscribe once you’re happy.
