How to get directories to accept blog logo?

  • My podcast blog site has a logo for the podcast on the front page.

    The .gif file is located in /public_html/images/

    But directories including my podcast do not pick up this logo and in one case a directory manager told me I do not have such a podcast logo which that site requires.

    The logo is not a photo but a design that includes the podcast name.

    Is there anything I can do to insure that directories find and use this logo?

    believe it or not, im not playing dumb. if thats the image, can you show me a page where you think that is supposed to show up that its not?

    Yes, that is the image.

    I seem not to have made myself clear.

    It is not on a page of my blog site that I want the image to reappear.

    Like most people I am submitting my podcast to various podcast directories. I notice that with a number of those who have accepted my submission that that logo does not appear with the podcast info.

    Further, one of these directories, Podcast Pickle, though having inspected the blog site, tells me that I do not have a podcast logo which their directory requires.

    I want to know what, if anything, I can do to make sure that that logo image is registered as such by these directories.

    I don’t know how to explain the dilemma better than that.

    ohhh, oke. now I understand. well how are you telling them what image to use? You said earlier it was inside public_html/images/ .. that image isnt, you know?

    Are you using some kind of plugin like PodPress or Podcaster? These offer ways to customize a feed to add things specific to podcasts, like logos and such.
