• Author(s) are slightly incapacitated apparently. They use my file system to store their data instead of using the database and you will not believe it, they actually download stuff to my filesystem all the time. And they actually managed to crash WP doing that quite unexpectedly by downloading their code to my filesystem that contained an error.

My production was suddenly down without anyone touching it. If this is good for you, go ahead and use it, I’ll stay away from the mentally challenged.

Apologies for the inconvenience of having your site down for a little while. We test our software as much as we can. However we are a small team, with limited resources, and our requests to the community to join our list of beta testers, believe it or not, have brought ZERO volunteers on board. Testing all the possible configurations is not an easy task, especially when we do this for FREE.

On average, Slimstat is a quite stable and robust product. When issues like the one you experienced happen, we are quick to release updates to fix them, as you may have noticed.

Too bad you think we are mentally challenged. Aside from the fact that it’s quite offensive to see that term used in that context (not for us, but for those who really have a disability), please know that if we decided to do things in a certain way, it’s because it is, in our opinion, the most reasonable approach.

With more than 100k users who continue to trust us, despite the occasional glitch, I am sorry to see you feel this way, but this is a free world, and you are entitled to your own opinion. So there’s nothing I can do or say to change your mind.

    Sincerely,
    Jason

Yeah, my sincere apologies to the disabled people, I agree they would feel insulted by comparison. I think it is simply worth noting, that if you think that quietly downloading executable code onto my server and executing it (and failing) is the best you can come up with, I feel justified to advise people to stay away from you.
