Pictures not loading to the media library before/after 4.7.1

    I have an issue with pictures not loading to the media library.
    I noticed problem few days ago when trying to upload picks. many times failed, after few times worked – but it was just 1 pic.

    Today (before update 4.7.1) I tried many times all day, and each time it failed – thumbnails in media library looked like broken image.
    Then I updated Wp to 4.7.1 and tried to upload again and this time – after blue line showing uploding to 100% – the picture disapeared. At all. Next one the same. Loading, loading, loading vey long time and when almost done – then gone.

    Please help cose I cant use my WP site and publish…

    Have you tried:
    – Flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server and/or browser caches. Not just your browser, but any op cache or content network cache as well such as Cloudflare. If your host provider has a “Purge Varnish” option or if you can ask your provider to flush memcache on your server.
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – manually resetting the plugins folder by FTP/ SFTP (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause. Also remember to deactivate any plugins in the mu-plugins folder (if you have created such folder). The easiest way is to rename that folder to mu-plugins-old.
    – switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Sixteen, etc.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    I’m having the same problem. I’ve flushed my caches. Delete plug-ins. Most frustrating I know it must be something simple but I really wish there was a live call center for help. Everyone told me WP was simple and easy to run and I can’t seem to get a change of luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi there,

    I am experiencing this same issue. After I had a huge hack, I had to reinstall WP through FTP. Now, my media library does not load. I try to upload an image and i get an error.

    I can’t even turn maintenance on on my computer because I want to be able to add my logo but I can’t even do that.

    Any help?
