Plugin causes pages to hang on upload

  • After recent PHP update on hosting server, plugin began hanging upon post link click to open. Showed blank page. When force reloaded post loaded properly, but since it was occurring quite often we had to disable it until resolved. No cash plugin on site or server of any sort to account for the error.

    Has anyone else experienced this and what’s a fast work around?

  • Whats your php version? Whats your php memory limit? Enable wordpress debug mode ans check for any errors in debug.log and error.log of your server

    PHP 5.3.10-1ubuntu3.25 with Suhosin-Patch (cli)
    but we are running the plugin on a number of other websites on the same machine without this problem occurring. Can you give us the support email again so we can send you logs and some login information for replicating the problem…

    If the other websites have no issue at all. You can separate the issue with deactivating other plugins one after one. One of the other plugins seems to be conflicting with MashShare or there is a memory limit. You can reach me at support [at] mashshare.net

    Backend too slow, disable mashshare everything back to work
    found problem yesterday till now (12 Jan 2017)

    Just to note that it did not have to do with our php update
    Curl has also been properly installed before the installed.

    The problem with MashShare began after WP automatically upgraded to WordPress 4.7.1. I had failed to notice the update. Plugin was stable with 4.7

    Please install query monitor plugin. Check for any php errors with it and let me know the slow queries.
