    Hi,

My site is live and I’ve been using Optimizer for a while with no problems. However I added some widgets to my sidebar a couple of days ago and it seems to have created a glitch – I can’t open the ‘right sidebar widgets’ section on Customize to edit or remove widgets. And when I load my website, pages that have widgets on the right sidebar won’t load.

I have no idea how to solve this, help!

@swaitland After going to Appearance > Customize navigate to that page that has the Sidebars in it. Then you will be able to edit the widgets from left.

    Thanks

I’ve tried that many many times and it doesn’t work – the page with sidebars just refuses to load. So I have literally no way to access the page and change the sidebar.

@swaitland Did you add a posts widget to your Sidebar? Does it load a blank white page?

Yes I added a posts widget. My website seems to be loading the widgets ok now, but I still have no way to edit or remove the widgets because I can’t access them in ‘customize’ mode.

@swaitland Can you please take the widget off and see if that loads in customizer? And alternatively, you can edit the widget from Appearance > Widgets.

    Thanks

Didn’t realise I could edit the widgets via Appearance. It’s all sorted now, thanks!
