    Since Publicize is triggered from WordPress.com servers, you won’t be able to customize its code yourself.

    You can, however, use the Publicize Details box appearing right above the Publish button in your dashboard; if you specify a custom message there, it will be displayed on Facebook instead of the post title and the automated excerpt.
