import not working for blogger

  • I set up wordpress blog and imported from blogger. Had to reinstall wordpress and also mysql database. I’m assuming that since everything is brand new I can re-import. Tried doing this and nothing is reimporting. I’m thinking that somewhere there is some information that says that I’ve already imported and so the import is ignoring these posts and comments. Please help.

  • The solution is to delete the text in the uploads section of the Settings->Miscellaneous screen. Having wrong directories there will give wrong results.

    Those settings should almost always be blank. Both of them.

    Don’t worry if they were automatically filled in. Copy them to be safe, then delete them from the fields and save and try to import.

    It should work. If not, put them back.
