    hello! i need some help as soon as possible please!

    i upgraded wordpress to 4.7 but i got an error about plugins

    The Requested method for creating WP_Widget in AboutMeWidget has been removed from the version 4.3.0! Use the
    __construct () in /home/cafeme/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3846

    and is about the theme’s widgets ()…. (from elegant themes). But my subscription there is over so i can’t update the theme (if this is the problem)

    any solutions?

    Have you tried deactivating the problematic plugin from the WordPress Dashboard? If you deactivate the plugin, it will no load try to load on your site. You can then remove it, try to update it, or leave it inactive as you communicate with the plugin author about your issues.

    You may benefit from looking into the plugin again on the WordPress repository. Is the AboutMeWidget plugin compatible with WordPress 4.7? If you’re using the following plugin, it says that it’s only compatible up to WordPress 4.3.6.

    it was something about active and inactive plugins….. and i had to clear my cache for some reason
