How to disable on some images?

    Hello,

    Is there a possibility to disable the effect of your plugin, only for certain images?

    In fact, I was using the Rocket lazy Load plugin, but it is incompatible with Basic Google Maps Placemarks plugin which I absolutely need to display maps of tourist places.

    On the other hand, with Rocket lazy Load plugin, it is possible to add data-no-lazy=”1″ in the tag < img > to disable the lazy laod effect on certain images. This is very handy, especially for maps that display a thumbnail of point of interest. I would like to find this possibility with your plugin.

    Hmm. Valid point, I can add a data attribute to do this. You’re trying to skip lazy loading for images inside the content area of a page / post – or inside a theme?

    Thank you for your interest in my problem. I forgot to mention that I use WP 4.7

    Difficult to answer precisely to your question: well, it’s not in the theme.
    In fact, I have 2 requests:
    – sometimes I would disable the lazy laod effect on some images in a page or post. For example, on the homepage, because I want the visitor to see the picture right away.
    – I would especially like to disable it when using the Basic Google Maps Placemarks plugin, because when you click on a point marker of interest, it displays a thumbnail.

    For example, have a look on this page: https://www.mon-coin-de-bourgogne.fr/autun/
    This page contains many images, on which I need to apply the lazy load effect (it is the aim of making the site lighter and faster)
    But look at the bottom of the page: there’s the map, and it displays thumbnail images when you click on an icon. I need to disable the lazy load effect, which blocks the map display. (For now, I have disabled the lazy laod)

    Mind downloading a copy of version 1.3.0 here and giving it a shot on a development site? This should add support for the data-no-lazy attribute so you can disable it on a per-image basis inside the post-content area.

    Hello,
    Sorry for not giving any news earlier.
    I recently installed your plugin in version 1.3.2 but this completely crashes the display of my site: we can see only the top menu, then blank page!

    Are you able to provide some error logs, and which version of PHP you’re using?

    My PHP version is 5.6.30 et MySQL version is 5.6.35.
    I don’t know how to access to the logs error.

    If you have error logging enabled on the server, in the root of your WordPress install directory there should be a ‘error_log’ file. If you could try to find any “fatal” errors in it or send me the whole file I could try to debug that for you.

    Ok, I’ve found the error_log file. I see the errors with your plugin, but I don’t know how to interpret them.
    How can I send it to you? There are almost 500 lines about your plugin, just for yesterday!

    Must have a lot of traffic! You can embed 30 lines or so here if you would like. That should give enough to debug with.

    Are you able to provide the HTML from the page that was erroring?

    I do not see the page name specified in the error logs.
    Here is the link to my site. You will see the source code.
    The homepage is a static page, with custom page template. The homepage was no longer displayed with your plugin, I did not test the display of the other pages.

    Flobogo, I really appreciate your assistance in testing / debugging this. Using your home page, I think I was able to solve the issue.

    I’ve also added a noscript fallback so this can be used for visitors who might not have Javascript enabled.

    For my part, I added a new lazy load plugin, which seems compatible with the display of maps created with Basic Google Maps.
