Unable to connect to the site

    I installed jetpack and activated it. now when I try to connect it, the following message shows up. the site is https://www.tmij.in

    Error Details: The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site [HTTP 404]. Ask your web host if they allow connections from WordPress.com. If you need further assistance, contact Jetpack Support: https://jetpack.com/support/

    I manage 2 other webistes where I could connect to jetpack. I tried changing the .htaccess codes in the cpanel.
