    Hi,

    I installed and enabled the plugin but I’m facing an issue.
    I’m unable to enable this shipping method.
    Under WooCommerce->Settings->Shipping->Canada Post (BASIC), there is no option to enable/disable this shipping method.
    In my shipping zones (WooCommerce->Settings->Shipping->Shipping Zones — Canada->Add shipping method), I only have “Flat Rate”, “Free Shipping” and “Local Pickup” listed.

    I need your help. If anyone has an idea, please let me know.

  • Shipping Zone is very helpful when you configure Shipping options like Free or Flat rate shipping for different zones.

    However, our Canadapost plugin is an independent plugin which works at domestic level and international level.

    You can enable and config the plugin on shipping tab under Woocommerce settings.

    Let me know if you have some issue.

    I can’t find the checkbox to enable the “Canada Post” (not UPS) the shipping method.

    Please find the screenshot of plugin settings page.

    You can enable the realtime rate from plugin settings page.

    Let me know if the rates are not coming.

    Hi Alextrieur.

    Our plugin works independently from the zone. So no need to config the shipping methods in the zone. Once you have configured the settings page properly the rate will come on cart/checkout page.

    Please turn on the debug mode from plugin settings. The debug data will help you to figure out the issue.

    It never worked for me. I’m offering free shipping across Canada and flat price to US and International. No need of that plugin anymore. I would have like the plugin to work, and hope it’s working for others but it was not a success for me.

    Please send me the debug request and response in a text file. So that I can check the root cause of your issue.

    I was having the same problem as the other 2 people.

    I think the problem had to do with that I was originally using an older version of this plugin. After updating the plugin, to version 1.2.8 at the time of this writing, I was still having the same issue.

    I fixed the problem by deleting the fixed rate. I then re-added the fixed rate back in, but this time I disabled it. Success. The Canada Post shipping plugin worked. I wasn’t sure if disable the rate was the fix so I tried once more and re-enabled the fixed rate, but Canada Post still works… Maybe all that needed to be done was deleting/re-adding it.

    Good to know that your issue is fixed.
    However, just a few pointers from our side.
    – There is no relation between our Canada Post plugin and the flat rate that you may be set using WooCommerce. In your case, this may be a cache issue.
    – Also if such kind of an issue occurs, it is best to debug and find out the problem.

    How to debug?

    Enable debug option in plugin settings page and then place an order from the cart page. You will see a request and response info. In the response, check for an error message. Once you get the error message you can try to correct it, or share the request and response with us so that we can help you.

    NOTE: Do remove all the sensitive information from the request and response before posting it in public forum.

    Please provide me with the screenshot of plugin settings page. I’ll check it and let you know.

    Also please note, our plugin works independent of the zone. The shipping option will not appear in the zone. But it will show the rate in the front end once you configured the plugin.
