TwentySeventeen: audio on homepage?

  • I’m using the Twenty Seventeen theme in WordPress, and have configured the Theme Options to stack a Welcome page (the <!–more–> tag doesn’t work for it, but that’s another problem) above the Blog/Podcast section.

    Is there any way I can get the podcast audio to display in that page excerpt in this front-page “stack”? The audio files appear and work fine on the blog page (https://www.jerkpod.com/blog/), but I’d also love for them to appear with the post excerpts on the home page (https://www.jerkpod.com).

    Go to PowerPress >> Settings, Advanced Mode >> Website. If it’s not already checked, check the box next to “Display media / links in: WordPress Excerpts” and click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.
