It has been asked few days ago by somebody else here, and it looked like the issue has been fixed the next day, now i open my website to find it again…
    [Ga_Lib_Api_Request_Exception] There was an error while contacting Google API: { “error”: { “code”: 429, “message”: “Insufficient tokens for quota group and limit ‘AnalyticsDefaultGroupCLIENT_PROJECT-1d’ of service ‘analyticsreporting.googleapis.com’, using the limit by ID ‘207216681371’.”, “status”: “RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED”, “details”: [ { “@type”: “type.googleapis.com/google.rpc.Help”, “links”: [ { “description”: “Google developer console API key”, “url”: “https://console.developers.google.com/project/207216681371/apiui/credential” } ] } ] } }

Anyone knows why it keeps happening? or if anybody is experiencing the same issue?

  • I have the same error, how can this be fixed:

Yes, same error here now, too.

On the plus side, tracking seems unaffacted (GA is reporting traffic to my site) but errors like this really shake one’s confidence. I can’t put up with a flaky traffic plugin.

    Hi again,

‘Realwann’, no you are not the only one…. I had the following error message 2 days ago and it was resolved, however, it is back again.

I certainly, agree that it needs to be resolved permanently.

    Hi all,

Thank you for reaching out about this error, apologies for the inconvenience on your end!

Our engineering team found the issue yesterday and updated the amount of Google calls allowed to make. Google’s API has limitations for requests per minute which is why you’re seeing this error. We have gone ahead and raised the level and you should no longer see the issue.

If you’re seeing this issue, please let us know and we’ll continue to debug this problem.

I’ve been getting the error for a few days myself, and have the latest version installed. Error reads.

Not sure the fix you mention has resolved this.

    Hi Brandon

I have to agree with ‘kennypierce’. The same error message is still there on my site.

    Bev

Does anyone know how to resolve this?

    I got this error

I am still having this problem. I haven’t seen any updates to the plugin since this started.

    Hi all,

Thank you for confirming that the error still exists.
Our dev team is working on this problem as we speak.

I’ll be sure to update you guys once we have a solution.

    I’ll add to that!

Same here, googling error message got me here

    Same sheet

I uninstalled and reinstalled, still having the issue. Just as an update for all.

Hi, glad to see I’m not alone with this error! I tried installing the GA plug-in by ShareThis to another site and got this error: There was a problem with Google Oauth2 authentication process.

Is this a Google problem or an issue from ShareThis?

Here is the full error on the site already running GA plug-in.

Hi, I’m a virtual assistant for a few decent sized sites, and I’m getting this error popping up on two of them. Any advice on what I can do to fix it? Or is it just something the devs are doing?
