Asks for password multiple times

  • I’m using the premium version 2.05. After submitting the password by going to the homepage I get a second prompt for the password anytime I go to another page on the site. Usually then I don’t get prompted again. I’m using Bluehost with no caching plugins. Could a www vs no www in front of the URL cause an issue?

    The issue is caused by logging into the site using the www domain but then if the links on the site don’t have the www, the non www pages are considered like a completely different site, and users end up having to log in again on the non www version of the site.

    Suggestion for how to fix this:
    Try adding the www to the Site Address (URL) setting in WP admin > Settings >General
