    Blocking Googlebot – How can I stop this plugin from blocking search engine bots. I got this below and it blocked the subnet. I took out the ip address below between crawl and googlebot.com – wasnt sure if i was allowed to post Ip addresses on this forum

    crawl-.googlebot.com January 4, 2017, 4:02 am Attempt to access prohibited URL

    No worries. The plugin blocks access to the WP Dashboard and vital WP scripts that are used by hackers and bots to hack your site. The plugin doesn’t prevent any content to be collected by search engine bots.

    Great Thanks! I thought it was because when i went to Google Webmaster Tools and did a Fetch site request it said access denied.
