PDFs not working

    Hello there. Recently we installed 410 for WordPress to our site in order to remove some .PDFs. However, we are not having any luck with getting these pages to give a 410. We have other 410 pages that work fine–it seems to be only the .PDFs. Does this plugin support .PDFs, and if so, how can we get these pages to return a 410?

    Are the PDF files still on the server? If so you will need to delete them before the plugin will be able to return a 410 – it is not able to intercept requests for files that exist on the server.

    The PDF files have been removed from the Media Library. It’s odd because we have other pages that have been removed, but only the PDFs seem to not want to give a proper 410 error.

    We figured out the issue through our web host support. It doesn’t have to do with the plugin itself, but rather a bypass of the PDF from Nginx is required. Our issue is fixed, but thank you for your help and your time!
