Timing issues: posts go to scheduled and post after 7 hour delay

  • Feedwordpress has a problem. Everything works, but a delay presently and consistently of 7 hours when I post. post end up in “scheduled” and I can’t change their status.
    I did move to a new server. Before the move only Postie had the problem. Now feedwordpress also has it. What is wrong in my settings?
    Manually posted posts go in fine.

  • I have the same problem, but I found the issue, your RSS feed is GMT time
    so Pub time is set to 7h in the future

    I was expecting that pub time was ignore when you tick the post immediately function
    but its not, I have asked for a way to force this.

    Ever tried putting Publishing time to -7 in postie?

    Well as Default dont matter what Time zone you set you WP the core system run at GMT time
    as I understand it, do telling the system your in London or Bangkok ( 7h ) give the same result, if pub time in the RSS feed is set wrong.

    Only option is that if the Pub is ignore when use the post immediately function, btw something I expected it was but is not, ( a error ? )

    ITs easy to test,

    Go into posts and take one that schedule, then move the post time and update, you see it get posted right away,
